Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. is seeking a Dock Worker in Mansfield, OH to load and unload freight efficiently and safely. The role operates from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, with pay starting at $23.95 per hour in a modern, professional environment.

You will be expected to perform pre/post trip inspections, complete freight documentation, participate in training programs, and adapt to irregular schedules. Fluency in English and the ability to pass a drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Basic math skills required.
• Fluent in English.
• Able to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight in a productive, safe and claims-free manner.
• Maximize space when loading freight as part of dock operations.
• Complete pre and post trip inspections on all dock equipment.
• Document all freight control processes accurately.
• Participate in Dayton Freight’s training and improvement programs.
• Be available for irregular work schedules and alternating shifts.
• Adhere to the Dayton Freight Driver/Dockworker Manual.
