Job summary

Endeavor Health at Elmhurst Hospital is seeking a dedicated Food Service Assistant II to join the evening shift. You will support patient meals, assemble and deliver items, and help maintain food safety and quality in a healthcare setting.

The role is part-time (20 hours/week) with hours Monday–Friday 3:30 PM–8:30 PM and rotating weekends/holidays. Hourly pay ranges from $17.43 to $24.40, with compensation determined by experience.

Qualifications

• Certification: Food Handler Training Certificate Program (ANSI Accredited) within 30 days of start date required.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or GED and minimum of one year of food service experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or serve foods and beverages in one or more food service environments.
• Assemble, serve and/or deliver meals to patients and/or staff in an efficient, professional, and timely manner.
• Support food safety and quality for patients, visitors and staff.
