The role includes general cleaning of food service areas and stocking of kitchen supplies, with a schedule from 3:45pm to 8:00pm, alternating weekends and rotating holidays.

The position requires high standards of sanitation and teamwork within a patient-centered environment.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required
• ServSafe food safety certification or willingness to take the class
• Ability to work well with others in a geriatrics setting
• Basic understanding of quality food production, therapeutic nutrition and sanitation practices

Responsabilidades

• Assist in preparation and service of meals to residents, tenants, patients, guests, and staff
• Follow menus and daily work lists to plan tasks
• Maintain cleaning of kitchen areas, surfaces, dishes, and equipment
• Stock kitchen supplies and food items, including beverages
• Comply with sanitation, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements
• Attend required departmental meetings as scheduled
