Job summary

Certified Group is seeking a Laboratory Associate to assist in chemical testing of foods and ingredients. You will prepare solutions, homogenize samples, operate routine chemistry instruments, and maintain glassware and records in a regulated lab setting.

Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 1:00pm–9:00pm. A Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field and at least 2 years of lab experience are required, with travel as an option.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience.
• Working knowledge of aseptic sampling technique and automated lab equipment.
• Broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures in a food testing laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain chemical solutions
• Apply standard laboratory techniques in daily workload
• Inventory and report expendable supplies/materials needed for testing requirements
• Provide routine preventive maintenance by daily cleaning and sanitizing
