Job summary

Ameri-Force, Inc. is seeking a Flux Core Welder to fabricate and assemble metal structures and components.

You will interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications to complete tasks with precision while following safety guidelines and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. The role requires 5+ years of production welding across carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and AR plate, and the ability to pass a 3G FCAW test with open root.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass 3G FCAW test with open root.
• Experience welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and AR plate.
• Ability to read and interpret full engineering blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• 5+ years of production welding and/or fabrication experience in a custom fabrication environment.
• Strong knowledge of welding safety practices.
• Capable of conducting weld inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Flux Core welding (FCAW) as per engineering specs.
• Fabricate and fit metal structures and machinery with precision.
• Weld on carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, AR plate with appropriate filler metals.
• Perform advanced fit-up and layout on large assemblies using blueprints.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, tolerances, and material specs.
• Apply weldability and safety considerations for each material.
