Job summary

Cambridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Moorestown, NJ is hiring a Floor Technician for the full-time 3PM-11PM shift. You will perform floor care, carpet cleaning, and uphold safety and infection control standards in a 120-bed sub-acute and long-term care facility.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Floor Technician or related environmental services role preferred.
• Working knowledge of floor care equipment, chemicals, and maintenance techniques preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures due to physical and environmental risks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Strip, refinish, burnish, spray clean and buff hard floors.
• Operate industrial floor care equipment safely to clean all floor surfaces.
• Clean carpeted and upholstered surfaces via shampooing, vacuuming and extraction.
• Perform routine maintenance and restorative care for all floor types.
• Follow safety protocols, infection control guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Handle and dispose of waste per facility and regulatory standards.
• Report maintenance or equipment issues to supervisors.
• Support housekeeping and environmental services as needed.
