Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Floor Technician in Oceanside, CA to perform floor care including waxing, stripping, buffing, and related duties per company standards. The role requires safe handling of cleaning equipment and adherence to safety rules, with a focus on teamwork and customer service.

The ideal candidate has 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and work an evening shift

Qualifications

• No formal education required; 6 months to 1 year experience preferred or equivalent
• Must have access to a valid driver’s license; forklift certification may be required
• Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills; knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment as required.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Perform floor care including waxing, stripping, buffing, and related duties.
• Report safety hazards as appropriate and work with the team to resolve issues.
