Job summary

Harvard Maintenance, Inc in Columbus, OH is hiring a Janitorial Floor Tech to clean and maintain all floors across our facilities. You will operate specialty floor care equipment and apply industry best practices to ensure a safe, spotless environment.

The role requires initiative, reliability, and familiarity with floor care techniques for tile, carpet, and other surfaces. A high school diploma is preferred and prior janitorial experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in floor care, janitorial, or commercial cleaning is a plus.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques for various surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Clean, maintain, and care for a variety of floor types, including tile, carpet, and brick.
• Operate floor cleaning equipment safely and properly.
• Follow established procedures for the correct use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and on schedule.
• Observe safety protocols, including the use of "wet floor" signs and other precautions.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Promptly report any safety hazards or concerns.
• Deliver high-quality service upholding the standards of the Environmental Services Department.
