Job summary

Challenge Unlimited is seeking a part-time Janitor to support operation at the Potter Stewart Courthouse. This role involves cleaning, sanitizing, restocking, and safe handling of cleaning supplies, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer service.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 4:00pm–8:00pm, at the Potter Stewart Courthouse site. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of janitorial experience, are 18+, and can pass background checks.

Qualifications

• 1+ year janitorial experience required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Background checks required: criminal, state/federal registry, DCFS Abuse/Neglect check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean restrooms, offices, and common areas per CIMS standards.
• Perform floor care including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing as needed.
• Ensure safe handling and labeling of cleaning chemicals; restock supplies.
