Helena Public Schools seeks a Full-time Float Custodian at Capital High School to join a 70+ member facilities team serving 8,000 students across 18 campuses. Shifts include Afternoon/Evening and periodic Day shifts, with a strong emphasis on safe, reliable building operations.
Responsibilities include cleaning, grounds/maintenance, minor repairs, inventory, and assisting visitors. Must regularly lift up to 50 lb and occasionally up to 100 lb.

As a Float Custodian, you will work both Afternoon/Evening Shifts and periodcally Day Shifts and will contribute to this educational mission by keeping the district's buildings in such a state of operating excellence that they present no problems or interuptions to the education program. You will work as part of a team of 70+ serving 8,000 students and 18 campuses across Helena.
Essential functions of the position include the ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds such as cleaning suppllies, pails and unloading trucks. Occasionaly the empoyee will lift and/or move up to 100 pounds such as bulk furniture with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Entry level salary is $17.40 per hour and includes a comprehensive benefit package consisting of paid sick and vacation leave, 12 paid holidays, 2 paid personal days, a generous health benefit offering, and retirement.
