Qualifications

• Experience providing quality resident services including needs assessment, meeting quality standards, and evaluation of resident’s satisfaction.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize work during shifts.
• Sanitary practices related to food handling and safety knowledge.
• Good communication skills and interactions with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Run dishes and silverware through the dish machine following proper procedures and provide resident service within guidelines.
• Clean and maintain equipment and areas as designated by management.
• Keep sufficient supply of china, silverware, trays, cups and glasses during service periods.
• Serve meals in dining areas according to portion control procedures and make meals appetizing.
• Complete daily cleaning assignments including cleanup of spills and disposal of trash as needed.
• Participate in departmental cleaning and recycling program.
• Dispose of food and waste in accordance with facility/state guidelines.
