Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, with a preferred Bachelor's degree. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required, along with the ability to lift heavy

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication at all organizational levels.
• Ability to direct subordinates clearly and concisely.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule if needed.
• Must be able to lift and move items over 50 lb.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance required.
• Clean driving record for last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Fleet Maintenance department within the designated area.
• Ensure preventative maintenance programs are followed across locations.
• Perform quality control audits and document maintenance activities.
• Coordinate capital refurbishment scheduling with available funding.
• Provide training to subordinate personnel and ensure cost-effective repairs.
• Maintain proper disposal and documentation of waste stream items.
• Ensure parts inventories stay at efficient levels and coordinate inter-area needs.
• Ensure vehicles are prepared for transfer or disposal as required.
