Penske Logistics in Livonia, MI is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on building equipment, fixtures, conveyors, wrap machines, and systems. Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating and cooling systems, and to conduct preventative maintenance inspections.

This part-time role offers a 5:00pm–10:00pm schedule, requires 2+ years of experience, a High School Diploma, and

Qualificações

• 2+ years of facilities/general maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Must read and interpret manuals, documents, and drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine inspections with high attention to detail to identify repairs.
• Participate in Safety Committee meetings to ensure a safe workplace.
• Utilize Maintenance Work Order system to complete maintenance timely.
• Perform maintenance in painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, doors, conveyors, wrap machine, and related building components.
• Support operations by providing suggestions and developing solutions.
• Be a point of contact during off-shift hours for facilities issues.
• Work in varied conditions (heat, cold, moisture).
• Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
