Job summary

FPG Endocrinology is seeking a diligent cleaner to maintain a safe, healthy facility in Venice, FL. You will perform daily cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting surfaces, and restroom sanitation, contributing to a clean and orderly environment.

Key responsibilities include trash management, reporting issues, and adhering to safety procedures. Prior experience is preferred, and the role requires quality workmanship and reliability in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Ability to perform general cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to follow routines, instructions, and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain clean, organized, and sanitary restrooms.

Responsibilities

• Empty all trash and recycling bins, replace liners as needed, and ensure receptacles are clean.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, work areas, and high-touch surfaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors following the assigned cleaning route.
• Inspect areas for items of value and place found items on the nearest table or desk.
• Report any mechanical or electrical issues to the supervisor.
• Move carts and equipment safely and follow the designated cleaning sequence.
• Vacuum and mop elevator lobbies, hallways, and other common areas as assigned.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order.
