Job summary

Good Samaritan Family Resource Center (GSFRC) in San Francisco, CA is seeking a dedicated Custodian for its main Family Resource Center and satellite sites. The role entails cleaning classrooms, offices, kitchens, restrooms, and common areas, while supporting basic maintenance and safety operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of custodial experience. You must be able to travel between sites (about 3–4 miles apart) and perform physical cleaning

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years custodial/janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to travel between main center and satellite sites (3–4 miles apart).
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and bending.
• Must pass background check and TB clearance.
• Requires valid California driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of classrooms, offices, kitchens, restrooms and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, wash walls and windows and maintain clean facilities.
• Stock and organize custodial supplies; monitor inventory and restock as needed.
• Assist with room setup/breakdown for meetings, programs and events.
• Report safety or maintenance issues to Facilities and Safety Coordinator.
