Job summary

ABM Industries in Reno, NV is seeking a part-time Janitorial Cleaner to perform a range of cleaning duties across assigned facilities. The role runs Monday to Friday, 5pm–9pm, supporting a clean and safe work environment for staff and visitors.

The position emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and adherence to safety procedures. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and some cleaning experience, with the ability to work independently and manage time

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and maintain hygiene standards.
Empty trash and recycling in accordance with policies; report issues to supervisor.
Clean windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces; manage supplies and equipment.
Assist with setup/cleanup for meetings or events; follow safety procedures.
