Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of cleaning/janitorial experience.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings clean and orderly; performs heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
• Collects and disposes of trash; dusts and damp mops floors; moves equipment and furniture for cleaning; sanitizes surfaces.
• Cleans assigned areas with approved materials and equipment; follows eight-step cleaning procedure; cleans walls, windows, furniture, baseboards.
• Washes walls, windows and surfaces; seeks out areas needing cleaning; completes tasks per supervisor; follows all guidelines; strips, scrubs, buffs floors; shampoos carpets.
• Works with team professionally; supports colleagues; performs other duties as assigned.
