Job summary

PMM Companies is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Cleaner to join our team. The General Cleaner will maintain cleanliness and tidiness across our premises, ensuring a safe environment for employees, visitors, and guests.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing restrooms, emptying trash, stocking supplies, and operating cleaning equipment. You will assist with events, follow safety protocols, and report maintenance needs to the Facilities Manager.

Qualifications

• Reliable and detail-oriented individual required.
• Comfortable lifting 25–50 pounds.
• Wollows safety protocols and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties across the facility (sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming).
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, toilets, sinks and fixtures.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling regularly.
• Wipe down and sanitize desks, countertops and door handles.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to Facilities Manager.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning after events or meetings.
• Follow established safety guidelines while cleaning.
• Adhere to company cleanliness policies.
