Job summary

The Lebanon School District is seeking an Adult Education ESL Teacher to conduct low to intermediate level English instruction for adult students, with classes potentially offsite in the greater Lebanon area. The course runs fall 2026 through June 2027, with possible summer session.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field, experience with adult students preferred, TESOL certificate or similar preferred, and strong computer skills including CANVAS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Previous teaching experience, preferably adult students.
• Ideally possesses a TESOL certificate or similar.
• Strong computer skills. Familiarity with CANVAS is highly desired.

• Positively interact and build trusting relationships with students by creating community within the class through a welcoming and empathetic learning environment for our diverse student population.
• Be communicative in your approach in order to foster participation in class.
• Put theory into a practical, real-world context.
• Oversee lesson planning and completion of homework assignments
