• Collects and verifies demographic and insurance information for EHR and claims processing.
• Schedules, preregisters, cancels, and reschedules tests and procedures; coordinates timely scheduling.
• Verify insurance benefits and document in patient records; educate on insurance coverage.
• Assist with financial counseling on self-pays and collect payments with receipts.
• Maintain records and report statistics; support orientation and training of new staff.
