Job summary

You will monitor patients, assess needs, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to devise care plans, perform routine procedures, administer medications, and educate patients and families while upholding GA Nurse Practice Act and Joint Commission standards; ACLS/PALS within first year.

Qualifications

• Licensed with GA Nurse Practice Act and Joint Commission standards.
• ACLS and PALS required within first year.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient’s condition and assess needs to provide the best possible care.
• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians and other providers.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to devise individualized care plans.
• Perform routine procedures such as blood pressure checks and injections and document in the chart.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain hygiene and safety by sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
• Provide immediate medical care in emergencies.
• Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants.
• Foster a supportive environment for patients and families.
• Pursue ongoing education through workshops and conferences.
