Qualifications

• ED EXPERIENCE STRONGLY PREFERRED
• RNs with more than 1 year acute care floor nursing STRONGLY PREFERRED IF NO ED EXPERIENCE
• Meets and maintains any requirements defined by specific specialty: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHH
• All Direct Care RNs are required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, communicating with family members, and ensuring overall patient care.
• Promoting teamwork and maintaining standards of practice and patient safety.
• Participating in professional performance, ethics, and quality improvement activities.
