Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department working 11am–11pm. This full-time position offers up to a $20,000 bonus and a supportive, team-oriented environment.

The RN will perform nursing care using the nursing process, assess and admit patients, administer medications, and coordinate care with families and the care team. A Virginia RN license is required; ACLS/BLS/PALS are preferred or obtained within 90 days.

Qualifications

• ED experience strongly preferred; new grads will be considered.
• Virginia RN license required or eligible.
• ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications preferred or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and admit patients and perform rounds checks.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Communicate with families and coordinate care with the team.
