Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Environmental Services staff member to perform daily cleaning and supply activities in patient rooms, wards, and common areas. The role supports safe patient care and a clean hospital environment.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in fast-paced settings; familiarity with hospital operations is a plus, and a High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. No professional certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent service in interactions with customers including coworkers, patients, visitors, physicians and volunteers.
• Performs cleaning in assigned areas according to schedules and prescribed methods.
• Dusts horizontal surfaces and spots walls and windows.
• Empties waste and cleans trash containers.
• Replenishes room supplies and linens as assigned.
• Dries and mops floors and cleans carpets as needed.
