Job summary

Kearney County Health Services is seeking an Environmental Services Tech to maintain a clean and safe hospital and clinic environment. You will support cleaning tasks in patient areas, operate rooms between procedures, handle laundry, and manage waste in alignment with state regulations.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and reliable attendance for 2:00 PM–10:30 PM shifts with weekend and holiday rotation. CPR is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• No prior experience required.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of hospital, clinic, and public areas.
• Sanitize operating rooms and equipment between surgeries.
• Handle laundry tasks and linen management.
• Manage bio-hazardous waste per regulations.
• Follow all facility policies, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
