Job summary

MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center is seeking an Environmental Services Tech to maintain clean and sanitary patient care and public areas in accordance with MercyOne standards. You will work the evening shift as part of a dedicated team delivering compassionate, safe care.

Key duties include cleaning patient/resident rooms, administrative areas, equipment upkeep, and supporting department safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient/resident room cleaning to ensure a clean and sanitary environment.
• Performs cleaning in administrative and support areas.
• Maintains neat, orderly work areas and accessible equipment.
• Keeps cleaning equipment and carts clean and orderly.
• Contributes to safety, security and efficiency of the department.
• Follows proper floor cleaning procedures and equipment care.
