Job summary

Amneal Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Electrician to maintain the facility's electrical systems. Responsibilities include installing, repairing, and servicing high- and low-voltage wiring, motors, transformers, and control equipment for 24-hour operations.

The role requires 3 years of electrical experience and knowledge of wiring diagrams and NEC/OSHA standards. Schedule is 3:30pm–12:00am, Tuesday to Saturday, at our New York facility.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 3 years of experience in electrical construction or facility electrical work.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and reference electrical codes for proper installations.
• OSHA-10 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of high- and low-voltage electrical wiring systems and equipment.
• Responds promptly to work orders to ensure timely resolution of electrical issues.
• Installs and services high-horsepower motors, coils, transformers, and control equipment; operates specialized tools and machinery.
• Designs functional electrical circuitry and creates single-line diagrams for control circuits.
• Provides on-the-job training to junior team members on electrical code standards and task requirements.
• Strives to reduce turnaround times and improve workflow for high-quality customer service.
