Job summary

Community Concierge Services in Durham, NC is hiring a part-time evening trash collector for an apartment community. You will walk the property, collect trash and recycling from resident doors, load into your pickup truck, and haul to the onsite compactor. All duties occur on one property.

Scheduling runs Sunday through Thursday starting at 7:00 PM, with shifts of 1.5–2 hours and about 8–10 hours per week. Fridays and Saturdays off.

Qualifications

• A reliable pickup truck is required.
• A valid driver's license and insurance.
• A smartphone with a data plan.
• Ability to carry up to 50 lbs unassisted and go up and down stairs.
• Availability every Sunday through Thursday evening.
• Reliability - showing up on time is the whole job.

Responsibilities

• Walk the assigned apartment community, including stairs.
• Collect trash and recycling bags from residents' doors.
• Load bags into your pickup truck.
• Transport to the onsite compactor or trash bins.
• Report any issues at the property.
