Job summary

The Campbell's Company is hiring a Distribution Associate in Downers Grove, IL to receive, store, pick, and ship finished products safely. You will support production, manage materials, and ensure accurate inventory using SAP and other systems.

You will operate forklifts, maintain certifications, and comply with safety standards while contributing to efficient warehouse operations and timely product deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in distribution, shipping, receiving, warehousing, or material handling.
• Experience operating forklifts and other powered industrial equipment.
• Ability to obtain lift truck licensing and certifications.
• Working knowledge of SAP and other inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory control, order picking, and shipping.
• Ability to read and interpret pick lists and shipping docs.
• Strong decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive finished products from production and ensure accurate storage and shipping.
• Operate stacker equipment and perform lockout/tagout procedures.
• Sort and organize products for storage and inventory control.
• Support production flow by supplying baskets and moving materials.
• Palletize finished products according to stacking requirements.
• Operate forklifts and other powered equipment and maintain certifications.
• Pick orders using MOA numbers and read pick lists accurately.
• Load outbound trucks and ensure proper load security.
• Count inventory and move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with receiving, shipping, and freezer operations as needed.
• Utilize SAP and other systems to support inventory transactions.
• Maintain 5S standards and safe, clean work areas.
• Follow food safety, quality, GMP, HACCP, allergen control, and traceability rules.
• Communicate operational issues and update boards daily.
