Job summary

The National, Autograph Collection in Oklahoma City is seeking a dedicated janitorial associate to maintain safety and cleanliness in assigned areas, contributing to guest satisfaction through teamwork and spotless environments.

You will perform floor care, waste removal, refrigerator upkeep, and support dish area operations, with emphasis on safety and adherence to sanitation policies. This role may require night and weekend shifts to meet hotel needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow verbal and written directions.
• Must be able to work with industrial cleaning supplies.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multi-task several duties at one time.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors and cleans walls and floor mats.
• Removes refuse, cleans trash containers and maintains the loading dock area.
• Picks up trash in the kitchen and loading dock area.
• Maintains the walk-in refrigerators.
• Keeps storage areas, tools, equipment, carts and other areas clean as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
• Participates in dish area operations and returns items not sufficiently cleaned for a second wash.
• Changes and disposes of grease.
• Maintains safety and accident prevention awareness; reports incidents.
• Assists fellow associates as needed.
• Reports maintenance problems to the designated Manager on Duty.
• Follows company policies, safety and sanitation rules; ensures compliance.
• May require night, weekend, and/or overtime work.
• Additional tasks may be added based on business needs.
