Job summary

7 Cedars is seeking a part-time dishwasher for Cedars at Dungeness in Sequim, WA. You will support the kitchen by pre-washing, operating the dishwashing equipment, and maintaining sanitation throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include stocking clean dishware, assisting with waste removal, and following all safety rules. No prior experience is required, but basic dish machine knowledge and strong teamwork are preferred.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary.
• Knowledge of basic dish machine operations preferred.
• Able to learn basic tasks and follow instructions.
• Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members.
• Strong organization, prioritization and multiple-tasking skills.
• Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
• Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner.

Responsibilities

• Separate and pre-wash dirty dishes, glass, and flatware delivered on bus trays and/or bus tubs
• Operate dishwashing equipment, proper use of chemicals and safety procedures
• Uses proper measurements of detergent and sanitizer in the dish machine
• Transport and store cleaned dishware, flatware and glassware properly and carefully
• Store and organize clean pots, pans and kitchen equipment
• Clean and organize workstation to ensure that proper sanitation standards are maintained
• Ensure clean dishware, flatware and glassware are fully stocked at all times cook and server staff
• Remove trash from all food and beverage areas and transport to appropriate waste containers outside building
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
• Must follow all safety rules and regulations
• Follow all general and department policies and procedures
