Job summary

7 Cedars Casino in Sequim, Washington is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to help keep the kitchen running smoothly, work with a great crew, and contribute to a positive guest experience.

You will wash and sanitize dishes, maintain cleanliness, assist with freight duties on delivery days, and follow all safety and sanitation rules to support daily kitchen operations. Native American hiring preference is noted.

Qualifications

• Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to interface with guests and team members.
• Able to learn basic tasks and follow instructions.
• Strong organization, prioritization and multitasking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Highly adaptable with positive attitude toward change.
• Knowledge of basic dish machine operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Separate dirty dishes, glass, and flatware delivered on bus trays and/or bus tubs.
• Operate dishwashing equipment, proper use of chemicals and safety procedures.
• Use proper measurements of detergent and sanitizer in the dish machine.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
• Clean and organize work station to ensure sanitation standards are maintained.
• Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly fashion.
• May assist with Freight duties; flexible schedule based on vendor deliveries.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Must follow all safety and sanitation rules and procedures.
