Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Rosemead, CA to assist adults with disabilities in daily living tasks, personal care, and community activities. The role requires a compassionate, patient approach and adherence to IPP/ISP goals.

The position is part-time with a $19/hour wage, benefits options, and a focus on safety, dignity, and empowerment for clients. Background checks are required and pre-employment steps must be completed.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
• Background in crisis management, behavior management or ABA desirable.
• Must have California Driver's License and be 21+ years old.
• First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with physical and developmental disabilities in daily living.
• Assist with personal care, meals, hygiene and dressing.
• Outline daily routines per IPP/ISP goals.
• Transport clients using a personal vehicle and mileage reimbursement.
• Maintain safe, clean environments and report incidents.
• Support clients in social activities and family visits.
