Job summary

AHL Healthcare Group in Duluth, MN is seeking caregivers to assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and support clients in a home health setting. The role includes medication administration and documenting services in electronic records, while engaging residents in activities and accompanying them to appointments.

Shift is the Second (Evening) with 6 openings. Part-time position with benefits including health and other insurances after eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School/GED is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass a MN DHS background study.
• Every other weekend availability required.
• Reliable transportation preferred to reach this location on Duluth's outskirts (0.50/hour less for non-drivers).

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal cares, activities of daily living, grooming, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
• Demonstrating positive and supportive behavior with the clients and coworkers.
• Medication administration
• Documenting on the services provided daily in the electronic records and computer system
• Socializing with residents and doing activities with them
• Going to appointments with clients
