Job summary

Delta-T Group Western Penna., Inc. is seeking Direct Support Staff to work in group/residential settings east of Pittsburgh on a 1099 contract basis.

The role offers $17/hour with 2nd (evening) shifts available and flexible weekday/weekend schedules based on client needs. Responsibilities include providing compassionate support to residents with mental health/IDD and assisting with daily living tasks such as meal prep, bathing and light housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illness.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
• COVID vaccine may be required as per client.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• PA State Criminal Background check.
• High school diploma or GED completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassion and emotional support to residents with mental health and/or IDD, focusing on individual growth.
• Assist residents with tasks they cannot perform, including meal prep, bathing, dressing and light housekeeping.
