Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in related culinary and food preparation services preferred.
• Experience in long-term care setting or related health care field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome residents and guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
• Answer questions about menu items and provide recommendations.
• Serve meals promptly while ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Prepare dining areas before meal service, including beverages, condiments, and table settings.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary dining rooms throughout each shift.
• Engage with residents by learning their dining preferences and providing personalized service.
• Follow Ginger Cove's dining service standards to deliver an exceptional resident experience.
• Complete side work and end-of-shift responsibilities; maintain food safety.
