Job summary

Front Porch in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a friendly Food Service Server for part-time, hourly work. Shifts are 3–7 PM, days TBD, with a pay range of $22.56–$25.00 per hour.

You will interact with residents and staff to ensure a positive dining experience and handle table service, menu knowledge, and guest comfort. Under the Dining Room Manager, you’ll maintain cleanliness, follow safety guidelines, and support event dining as needed.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers’ certification from local health department.
• Some High School Education completed.
• 1 month related experience or training.
• Bachelor's Degree is not required but may be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers and vendors.
• Prepares the tables, lays out napkins and utensils, refills condiments, and performs preparation tasks.
• Stays updated on menu choices, specialties and deviations; informs kitchen staff of shortages.
• Directs guests to tables, presents menus, suggests dishes and assists in drink selection.
• Maintains dining experience by delivering items, fulfilling guest needs and replenishing utensils.
• Performs basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
• Fills in for absent staff and assists with special events as needed.
• Greets guests and owners warmly with appropriate greetings.
