Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Brockton, MA seeks a part-time server to join our dining team. You will foster a clean, welcoming dining environment and provide friendly, personalized service to residents while serving meals on a timely basis.

This role offers flexible hours, 3pm-7pm shifts with rotating weekends. You’ll assist with meal trays, set up dining rooms, and support residents with dietary needs, while following health regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and Health Department regulations for food service operations.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Takes food and beverage orders from residents and serves meals on a timely basis that are both presentable and appetizing in appearance.
• Sets up and delivers meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Handles requests from residents who require assistance with meal selection or have specific needs.
• Sets up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
• Assists in inventorying supplies.
