Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Dining or hospitality experience preferred.
• Enjoys serving seniors with excellent customer service.
• Ability to interact professionally with residents, guests, and staff.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail.
• Good judgment, time management, and communication skills.
• Able to balance team and individual responsibilities.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift trays and supplies up to 25–50 lbs.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends/holidays.
• Comfortable interacting closely with residents during meals.

Responsibilities

• Take meal and beverage orders and serve food promptly.
• Ensure residents and guests are satisfied with meals.
• Know daily specials, menus, and items to assist selections.
• Set up, maintain, and clean dining room tables and stations.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Practice proper food handling, safety, and sanitation.
• Assist with opening and closing duties and checklists.
• Support orientation and training of new servers.
• Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and hospitality.
• Assist with dining room organization and supply placement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
