Apple Rehab in Berlin, CT is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide for 20 hours per week with a 12:30p-7p shift. The role involves assisting with meal prep, dining room duties, and sanitation while interacting daily with residents.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk, bend, lift, push, pull, turn, stoop and stretch.
• Ability to unload and stock groceries on shelves of various heights and to lift large items up to 50lbs.
• Ability to write and record data, to read and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to remain calm and work efficiently in cases of emergency.
• Ability to communicate with residents, staff, family members in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of meals and snacks and clean dining areas.
• Assist with receiving, rotating and storing supplies and food.
• Daily interactions with residents of the community.
• Help clean work areas, wash dishes, pans and utensils.
• Comply with infection control, safety and sanitation procedures.
