Dietary Aide/Cook Assistant

Job summary

Miller’s Health Systems in Indiana seeks a friendly Dietary Aide who delivers meals and nourishments to residents on schedule. You will interact with patients, supporting a positive dining experience while upholding infection control and sanitation standards.

You will work with a dedicated team, maintain professional appearance, and follow safety procedures. This part-time role offers evenings (12:30 PM to 8:30 PM) and opportunities for growth in our employee-owned organization.

Qualifications

• Must complete pre-employment process and screening.
• Able to pass physical examination required for employment.
• Must complete orientation and training; follow written and/or verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Report to work as scheduled or requested.
• Perform duties in their work area.
• Follow facility rules and regulations.
• Remain at work area unless on break or with supervision.
• Follow dress and hygiene codes.
• Practice proper sanitation procedures.
• Ensure resident safety by following policies and procedures.
• Attend mandated meetings and in-services.
• Complete all electronic in-services as required.
• Assist in general maintenance of the work area.
