Job summary

Miller’s Health Systems in Culver City, CA is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to assist in delivering meals and nourishments, interact with residents, and ensure a pleasant dining experience while following infection control and sanitation policies.

The role requires completing pre-employment steps, passing a physical exam and orientation, reporting on time, and adhering to facility rules. Work hours are 2pm-7pm, 15 hours weekly, pay range $13.25–$14.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening.
• Able to pass physical examination for gainful employment.
• Pass orientation and training; follow written and/or verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Report to work as scheduled.
• Perform productively in their jurisdiction of work.
• Conform to the basic rules and regulations of the facility.
• Remain in work area unless on break, meal period, or with supervisor's permission.
• Conform to dress and hygiene codes of the facility.
• Exercise proper sanitation procedures.
• Ensure the safety of the residents through adherence to all policies and procedures.
• Attend all mandated meetings and inservices unless otherwise excused.
• Complete all electronic inservices as required.
• Assist in general maintenance of work area.

As a Dietary Aide at Miller’s, you assist in the proper delivery of meals and nourishments at scheduled times. You adhere to regulations and company policies regarding infection control and sanitation of your work area. Most importantly, you will interact with our patients and help them have an enjoyable dining experience.

Qualifications

General:

2. 2. Able to pass physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility.
3. 3. Satisfactorily pass through required orientation and training. Be able to follow written and/or verbal instructions.
