Job summary

Feeser's Food Distributors is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to join our maintenance team in Harrisburg, PA. Shift is 2nd (11pm-7am) with guaranteed 40 hours and overtime opportunities. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on diesel trucks, trailers, and refrigeration equipment, along with diagnostics and repairs.

We value accuracy, teamwork, and safe operation of our modern fleet. A valid driver's license is required; CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Experience with diesel engines and preventative maintenance is preferred.
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on diesel trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, fuel, brake, suspension, and drivetrain systems.
Troubleshoot equipment using diagnostic software and tools.
Repair or replace components including axles, bearings, hubs, lighting systems, and air brake components.
Perform trailer inspections and repairs.
Install and repair liftgates, reefer units, ramps, and aftermarket equipment.
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
Follow DOT and company safety standards.
Work collaboratively with team members and ask for assistance when needed.
