Job summary

Right at Home in Glen Burnie, MD is seeking a compassionate caregiver with dementia care experience for an evening schedule. You will help clients live safely and comfortably at home, including mobility support, transfers, meal prep, medication reminders, and companionship.

The role requires CNA certification, CPR/First Aid, and a valid driver’s license, with a focus on respectful, personalized care and safe daily living assistance for seniors.

Qualifications

• CNA Certificate / License required.
• 1 year of CNA experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation.
• Ability to speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility devices (walker, wheelchair, lift).
• Assist with transferring/moving clients.
• Lift/move 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Support daily living activities.
• Light assistance promoting comfort, dignity and independence.
• Support range-of-motion exercises and physical care needs.
• Meal preparation and special diet support.
• Accompany clients on errands or appointments.
• Medication reminders.
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support.
• Perform housekeeping activities.
