Job summary

Willy Street Co-op is seeking a Deli Cook to prepare and cook a variety of items to order in the store's Deli department. You will follow established recipes using quality ingredients and collaborate with teammates to deliver appealing, properly labeled dishes.

Ideal candidates have prior food service experience, strong attention to detail for food safety, and a customer-focused, teamwork-oriented attitude in a fast-paced environment. Evening and weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service or a restaurant environment.
• Ability to follow recipes and prepare dishes as instructed.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced deli setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine recipes to produce each day using production sheets and inventory.
• Follow HACCP documentation to ensure food safety.
• Cook, portion, and label dishes for deli cases or customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized deli workspace.
• Assist customers at the deli counter and maintain attractive case displays.
