Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. seeks team members for a 2nd shift role in Omaha, NE. You will manage inventory, support shipping/receiving, and assist with assembly and server rack setup in a fast-paced data center environment.

Responsibilities include accurate inventory records, coordinating shipments, maintaining safety standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Experience in logistics and basic software skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory management, or related fields.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software, and proficiency with basic office software.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and procedures.
• Familiarity with lifting techniques and using material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming inventory and hardware.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation for received and shipped items.
• Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers and carriers.
• Prepare shipping documents, labels, and packaging for outgoing shipments.
• Upload, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.
• Transport inventory using pallet jacks and other handling equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at docks and storage areas.
• Adhere to safety protocols and center security requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill inventory and logistics needs.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as directed by management.
• Set up and install server racks as directed, and support senior technicians with cable management.
