Job summary

Lippert is seeking a production-oriented team member at our New Paris, IN facility. This full-time position supports meeting production goals, operates shop equipment, and requires the ability to lift heavy items in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and be able to work with team members.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and basic measurements.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work as a part of a team to achieve the company’s overall goals
• Must demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills (English)
• Must be able to meet production goals and time deadlines for company projects
• Must be able to read and process written communication including, but not limited to, work orders, frame prints, and measurements
• Must be able to rotate to other production positions as the need arises or as deemed necessary
• Must be able to operate appropriate equipment including fabricating machinery, band saws, acetylene torches, tape measures, etc.
• Must able to physically lift and maneuver weights in excess of fifty pounds
• Must possess successful problem solving skills
• Must be able to exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow employees, customers, etc.
