Job summary

Brainerd Public Schools seeks a 2nd Shift Custodian at Forestview Middle School to perform general cleaning, maintenance, and custodial support after school hours. The role reports to the Director of Buildings & Grounds and covers 12 months of service with 8-hour days.

Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, restrooms, halls, and common areas; operating cleaning equipment; and assisting with special events and performance of related duties. Requires reliability and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Maintain high custodial standards as described in the posting.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and people skills.
• Ability to lift up to 90 pounds and work in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms and restrooms; empty trash; wipe boards as requested.
• Dust, mop, and sanitize surfaces; move tables and chairs for cleaning.
• Operate floor cleaning equipment and perform grounds tasks as needed.
