Job summary

The University of San Diego is seeking a Custodian 2 for the PM shift in San Diego. This full-time, staff facilities role involves routine and non-routine cleaning tasks under supervision, with emphasis on restroom sanitation, floor care, and upkeep of campus spaces.

Minimum one year of cleaning experience is required, along with basic English language abilities. The position offers excellent benefits and requires working Monday–Friday, 6:00 pm–2:30 am, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Have a minimum of one year of related job experience and demonstrated proficiency in modern cleaning methods and techniques.
• Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength.
• Must be able to follow simple oral and written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect restrooms and fixtures.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, mats.
• Dust mop, sweep and wet mop floors.
• Polish furniture and fixtures.
• Inventory and order supplies.
• Perform related work as required.
