Job summary

Millard Public Schools is hiring a Full Time 12 Month Custodian. The role requires routine cleaning and security of district facilities, with tasks including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, restroom and classroom cleaning, and snow removal.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength.
• Ability to operate mechanical cleaning equipment.
• Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions.
• Ability to establish and maintain acceptable working relations with supervisors, staff, students, and general public.

Responsibilities

• Performs housekeeping floor care tasks including mopping and vacuuming.
• Picks up trash and empties containers.
• Supports lunch program services and cleans facilities.
• Cleans and maintains restrooms, classrooms, and common areas.
• Assists with snow removal and special cleaning activities.
